consisting of three natural zones and amazing variety of rare plants and animals. Kolsay Lakes are considered a pearl of Northern Tien-Shan

Kolsay lakes are very deep: the deepest place in the first lake is 80 m, in the second – nearly 50 m. The warm season proceeds since
April till the end of September. Kolsay lakes are a main goal of many travellers. A track to Kolsay lakes is one of the easiest ones.
Kaindy Lake is a unique and stunning natural attraction located in the Tian Shan mountain range in Kazakhstan. It is often referred to as the "Sunken Forest" or "Kaindy Blue Lake." The lake was formed as a result of a powerful earthquake that occurred in 1911, causing a massive landslide that blocked the gorge and created a natural dam. The water in Kaindy Lake is crystal clear and known for its turquoise color. One of the most remarkable features of the lake is the submerged forest of spruce trees rising from the lake's surface. These trees were preserved in the cold water, creating an eerie and captivating underwater landscape.
AltynEmel National Park is a large national park in Kazakhstan, located in the Ili River Valley within the Almaty Region. Chunja village is located 240 kilometers east from Almaty.
There are about 140 large mineral springs with temperatures varying between 37-50° C. The area of springs continues for tens of
kilometers along the Aksai-Chunja-Koljat highway. The Shonzhy springs get their thermal waters from the nearby Ketmen ridge and
the rivers that at some points transform to underground rivers in this otherwise arid region.
The water in the Chundja hot springs was called earlier radon due to the high content of this element in some of the springs.
Nowadays the water quality has been investigated more thoroughly and minerals like silicic acid, calcium, sodium, chlorine, iodine, bromine, etc.
Assy is a high-mountain plateau located approximately 75 kilometers from Almaty city, on the territory of the Ile-Alatau National Park. The plateau is a valley of subalpine meadows and begins at the KishiTurgen River, stretching for 60 kilometers. The height of the plateau varies from 2800 to 3200 meters above sea level. The main feature of the natural location is the Assy-Turgen astrophysical observatory (2750 meters), which was built in 1975. The structure was built here due to the ideal astroclimate and lack of light pollution. The Assy Plateau is an ideal place for stargazing. If you decide to come here overnight, take care of the appropriate gear, food and equipment: a two-layer tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, etc.

The man-made reservoir formed within the city was called the Blue Lagoon by the capital's residents because of the beautiful color of the water and the surrounding area. The lake is located three kilometers from the city. The place is a quarry surrounded by dumps of limestone rock. Clay mineral gives an unusual color to water. The artificial pond is filled by groundwater, because of this, the water in it is constantly turquoise.

This mausoleum is dedicated to Rabiga Sultan Begim, the daughter of Tamerlane (Timur). The architectural style is similar to the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi.

Sayram-Ugam National Park, also Sairam-Ugam, is a mountainous region of the Western Tian Shan Mountains, on the border with Uzbekistan. The area has high levels of species diversity, covering floral communities from steppe to high altitude zones. It is particularly known for stands of juniper forests, and stands of fruit and nut trees. The park boundary is 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of the regional city of Shymkent, and 50 km northeast of the Uzbekh capital of Tashkent.
Aksu Canyon is a canyon on the Aksu River in Kazakhstan. The canyon is 15 km long and 500m deep canyon and located in southern Kazakhstan in the Turkistan region. Aksu Canyon is one of the largest canyons in Central Asia and beside the Charyn Canyon one of the most popular canyons in Kazakhstan. It has an alpine character with nearby mountains reaching over 4000m. The Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve, though relatively small in area but the oldest National Reserve of the former Soviet Union, is rich in wildlife and included in the UNESCO world heritage site Western Tian Shan.
Akmeshit Cave, translated from Kazakh as «White mosque» , an unusual spot with captivating views accompanied by legends, is perfect for a pilgrim’s journey. The cave is located 90 kilometres north of Shymkent and can be accessed year-round.The outer entrance opened in the early 20th century when part of the dome collapsed. Many generations of locals told the story of Akmeshit – an unusual cave or underground mosque without external exits that could only be accessed through underground tunnels from nearby neighbourhoods. The tunnels were eventually sealed under rocks and for a long time the cave was merely a legend.
